How and Why to be Teacher’s Pet

You don't have to be a nerd to be a teacher's pet.
My name is Eva. And I am proud to say that I am a teacher's pet. Teachers like me a lot because of my personality and commmitment. These are the benefits of being a teacher's pet:

1. You can do no wrong.
Teachers can make rules in the classroom and if you follow them all the time, like a teacher's pet would, you can break one once in a while and get away with it. Don't do it often though.

2. Your grades are better.
If you are a teacher's pet, the teacher might give you half a mark on your test on your answer instead of no marks. This might not seem like much, bit you can move your grade from C to B or B to A easily this way. This is because they like you so much that they see something right in your answer. It also works if after the test you change your answer and they will pretend like they didn't notice.

3. Your report is perfect.
Any flaws you have - they will not be mentioned in the report. The teacher is just going to praise you.

Now that you've realised how good it is to be teacher's pet, let me tell you how to become one:

1. Look nice.
Make sure you look clean and fresh. Wear comfortable clothes - not baggy and not too stylish. You want to appear like you are wearing clothes that you would wear on a comfy day. Dress by the weather too. Practie hygene - no one likes yellow-teethed messy students/pupils. You are trying to impress them - by being yourself. But you can act as someone better and make it look natural.

2. Act nice.
Seems obvious - be polite and nice, not only to the teacher, but to your classmates. Don't swear in
front of your teacher either - it is going to make them see you in a bad light.

3. Smile a lot.
Don't smile fakely, just have a cute smile on
your face most of the time. While the teacher is teaching you, smile lightly to show that you are enjoying yourself in the class.

4. Participate in class.
Participation is so important. Answer questions. My trick is to wait for a few people to answer the question wrong or partcially right and put your hand up. Then give the correct answer. This is so easy. If no one says stupid things in your class, give one of the stupid guys or girls the wrong information before class, it's evil but it works.

5. Give cards and presents.
You might not see a benefit in giving Christmas cards or little presents - but it works. The teacher sees that you like them as a person and want to share something with them. Plus, if someone does a
service for you for free, doesn't it make you feel like they are nicer than they are?
The presents don't have to big - you can buy a cheap charity card and bake a gingerbread cookie. Whatever is easy. It is the thought tha counts.
If you know the teacher's birthday, it is even better! Give them a card, don't pick the age though - it is too creepy, and a little keyring with their name on or something. It makes them so happy.

6. Don't expect the results to come quickly.
You can't do this in one week. It takes months of work, but if yu follow all these tips, then I guatantee you will succeed. Even if the teacher already has a teacher's pet. Take the spotlight! I believe in you!
